On 17 May 2022, on the last ceremonial event in Gagyvendégi was handed over the St. Stephen’s House built within the project ‘Meet the Local Needs’. It is a training centre where will be organise educational programmes, trainings and other events to facilitate the integration of disadvantaged persons. The aim is to help people in the labour market who do not competitive skills and knowledge. Thanks to this project in the same area there is also the Vendéghy Castle, which has the new Roof. This project is part of the Cross-Border Employment Action Plan for the Microregion Cserehát under the Interreg V-A Slovak Republic-Hungary cooperation programme.
